SAMG Entertainment Opens “The Teenieping” Brand Store in Seongsu Today

  • Offline Expansion of Integrated IP Brand “The Teenieping” Gets Underway
  • Customizable “MYPING” Targets Teens and Families Beyond the Kids Market

Global IP content company SAMG Entertainment (KOSDAQ: 419530, CEO Suhoon Kim) opened its first offline brand store, “The Teenieping,” on Dec. 24 at S-Factory in Seongsu, Seoul. The opening marks the company’s first step in extending its recently launched integrated IP brand into a physical retail space.

Earlier this month, SAMG Entertainment introduced “The Teenieping” as a unified brand encompassing its key intellectual properties, including the popular animated series Catch! Teenieping. Alongside the launch, the company reorganized its toy and merchandise portfolio under a single brand identity and rebranded its online shopping mall accordingly, signaling a broader strategy to integrate IP-based commerce and brand management.

Located in Seongsu, the brand store spans about 2,700 square feet and is divided into four sections: the MYPING zone, photo zone, collaboration project zone, and MD zone. The store is designed primarily as a retail space, complemented by elements that introduce the brand and its characters.

MYPING, a new customizable product line, allows customers to assemble their own characters by selecting components such as hair, outfits, and accessories. Orders can be placed via in-store kiosks, with assembled products available for on-site pickup. Select areas feature photo-friendly displays, while additional costumes and accessories are available for separate purchase.

The photo zone is themed around “Heartsping’s Laid-back Days,” inspired by scenes from the character’s everyday life. The collaboration project zone presents curated merchandise developed in partnership with other brands and content properties, while the MD zone showcases around 250 IP-related products, including toys and character goods.

To celebrate the opening, SAMG Entertainment is hosting a series of promotional campaigns both online and offline. Purchasing customers will receive MYPING stickers, while new members of the online store are eligible for a photo card giveaway. From Dec. 24 to 25, shoppers who meet a minimum purchase requirement can participate in a gacha-style event, along with neighborhood-based promotions in the Seongsu area.

The company has also partnered with interactive content platform Realworld Seongsu to host a collaborative event from Dec. 24 through Jan. 4. Visitors who complete the “Heartsping’s Signal” mystery game at Realworld and present an invitation card at The Teenieping store will receive a key ring. A separate SNS authentication event offering Teenieping eco-bags will continue beyond the collaboration period.

The Teenieping in Seongsu operates daily from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Entry is available through advance reservations via the official online store or through on-site registration.

A SAMG Entertainment representative said, “The Teenieping in Seongsu is our first offline store that brings IP and merchandise together under a single brand. By leveraging Seongsu’s position as a trend-driven district, we aim to engage teenagers, young adults, and international visitors, while continuing to explore opportunities to expand IP-driven business models and support sustainable growth.”
