Akira Sasaki, CEO of Kids Station, said, “We have been providing kids-family contents that both children and families can enjoy together through the Kids Station channel. Through this partnership with SAMG, I am very happy to introduce Catch! Teenieping animation, which is very popular in Korea, for the first time in Japan. SAMG’s flagship IP ‘Catch! Teenieping’ has begun another challenge to leap higher on the new stage,” he said. “Catch! Teenieping has already proven its potential in the global OTT market especially in China, North America, and Australia, with its character power along with exciting stories that children around the world can relate to. Also Catch! Teenieping features a variety of adorable characters every season, along with the “collecting” element, that will serve as a great competitive edge in the Japanese animation-toys market” he said, expressing his ambition to enter the Japanese market. SAMG plans to release Catch! Teenieping Japanese teasers sequentially on its YouTube channel from a month before the first airing in Japan.
