SAMG Entertainment Rolls Out Its Largest Children’s Day Festival Yet

SAMG Entertainment (CEO Suhoon Kim), a global IP content company, is launching a large-scale festival for Children’s Day built around its flagship franchise Catch! Teenieping.
Titled the “Children’s Day Happy Festa,” the event spans the company’s key retail and experience spaces, as well as major offline channels across Korea. It combines character-driven activities with in-store promotions, aiming to turn visits into both shared experiences and retail moments for families.
The program is anchored in SAMG Entertainment’s core locations in Seongsu, Jamsil and Pangyo, each with a distinct focus. Online pre-events are also tied to on-site activities to build early interest and extend engagement beyond the visit.
At THE TEENIEPING Seongsu, the focus is on retail-driven promotions. Visitors can find discounted “lucky bags,” limited-time daily deals, as well as photo zones and social media events designed for families.
THE TEENIEPING Mini locations in Jamsil and Cheongnyangni on hands-on activities, including “MyPing” experiences and mission-based programs. Shoppers who meet a minimum purchase amount will receive small food-and-beverage giveaways.
In Pangyo, Teenieping World serves as the main fan destination. From May 1 to 5, it will offer limited-edition random boxes featuring Catch! Teenieping Season 6 merchandise. Docent-led programs and themed promotions add to the on-site experience.
Meanwhile, Royal Boutique in Yongsan focuses on a more curated visit, offering Children’s Day packages alongside character photo sessions tailored for families.
The festival also extends beyond these locations. Regional events such as the Taean International Flower Healing Expo will feature sing-along shows and character photo zones. At the same time, major retailers and toy stores nationwide will run promotions of up to 30% on key IP products, including Catch! Teenieping, Wishcat, Metal Cardbot and Miniforce.
Online channels are also part of the campaign. THE TEENIEPING online mall will host random-box sales, along with simple events and social media participation programs.
Industry watchers say the project highlights how content IP can drive both foot traffic and retail sales when combined with in-person experiences.
“This festival is designed to expand how audiences experience our IP during the Children’s Day season,” a SAMG Entertainment official said. “We will continue to develop formats where families can enjoy the content while engaging with it in different ways.”
