“Open, Star Change Ring!” SAMG Entertainment Unveiled Star Catch! Teenieping. The Hit Movie Heartsping: Teenieping of Love Continues Its Success with a New Season

-Season 5 of Catch! Teenieping, titled Star Catch! Teenieping, premiered on October 10 at 6 PM on YouTube’s Teenieping TV channel.
-The fifth installment of the original series that inspired the hit movie Heartsping: Teenieping of Love, which drew 1.2 million viewers in Korea.
-Season 4, which achieved a record-high viewership of 26% on JEI TV (Nielsen), will return for its television debut on October 16.

SAMG Entertainment, the company behind the highly successful Catch! Teenieping franchise, officially unveiled the fifth season of its flagship IP, Star Catch! Teenieping, on October 10.

The new series premiered on October 10 at 6 PM on SAMG’s YouTube channel, Teenieping TV, where a special Teenieping Show introduced fans to the latest chapter in the beloved series.

The Catch! Teenieping franchise, which first aired in 2020, has become a staple in K-animation. It served as the foundation for the 2023 hit movie Heartsping: Teenieping of Love, which drew over 1.2 million viewers in Korea. Each year, SAMG has released a new season, building on the series’ growing popularity.

The series consistently outperforms its previous seasons in terms of viewership. Season 3, Puzzle Catch! Teenieping, hit a high of 18.5%, while last year’s Dessert Catch! Teenieping started off with a 20% rating and reached a peak of 26%, marking a successful finale.

Since last year, SAMG Entertainment has opted to launch new seasons on its YouTube channel, Teenieping TV. During the live-streamed premiere of Season 4, Teenieping Show attracted over 14,000 concurrent audiences, solidifying the series’ status as a leading children’s entertainment phenomenon.

The Teenieping characters, including Heartsping, have gained widespread recognition, even sparking viral trends like the “Teenieping Name Challenge” across social media. The franchise has grown into a beloved character IP, reaching not only children but also the Generation Z audience and beyond, raising expectations for the new Teenieping characters set to debut in the upcoming season.

Director Sung Jang of SAMG Entertainment remarked, “Star Catch! Teenieping will follow the story of Romi and Heartsping as they protect the Star Teeniepings living in Cosmic Town. With over 20 colorful Star Teeniepings lighting up the night sky, fans can expect a more expansive and exciting Teenieping universe.”

The new series, which premiered on October 10 through the Teenieping Show, will make its TV debut on Wednesday, October 16, at 7 PM on JEI TV.
