SAMG Entertainment Launches Unified IP Brand ‘THE TEENIEPING’

  • – A brand transition that brings the entire universe under one identity, expanding emotion- and fantasy-driven experiences
  • – First Seongsu-based brand store to open within the year, set to engage Gen Z and adult fandoms

Global IP content company SAMG Entertainment(KOSDAQ: 419530, CEO Suhoon Kim) announced the official launch of its new integrated brand “THE TEENIEPING.” The initiative marks a significant milestone as the company shifts away from a content-by-content approach and moves toward a unified brand structure across its entire IP portfolio.

The newly unveiled brand redefines the identity of SAMG Entertainment’s flagship universe by bringing together all content and product categories under a single brand concept. This includes hit animation series such as Catch! Teenieping, Baby Teenieping, Animal Heartsping Series, and Heartsping’s Laid-back Days, as well as figures, plush toys, playsets, action toys, and additional merchandise.

SAMG Entertainment plans to operate THE TEENIEPING as an integrated online–offline platform designed to strengthen fan engagement and accelerate IP expansion. As part of this strategy, the company will rebrand its official online store under THE TEENIEPING and launch its first offline brand store. With characters increasingly embraced as tools of self-expression across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle categories, SAMG Entertainment aims to deepen brand loyalty and increase time spent within its IP universe by connecting THE TEENIEPING’s narrative world to real-life experiences.

The offline brand store will serve as a physical extension of the integrated brand experience. The space will feature hands-on programs, including customizable “My Ping”, photo zones that visualize emotional and fantasy elements, a dedicated MD zone, and a cafe. Each element has been curated to intuitively express the emotional value and sensibility that the brand aims to deliver.

Industry experts point to Gen Z’s growing preference for “soft, non-aggressive” content as a key driver behind Teenieping’s rapid rise. Its gentle storytelling and emotion-centered character traits have expanded its audience beyond children to teenage girls, young women, and adult fans. The recent film “Heartsping: Teenieping of Love” also reinforced the brand’s momentum, becoming a symbol of affection and drawing 1.24 million viewers. This broader trend toward emotion-driven consumption is heightening the importance of physical experiential spaces, where characters are consumed not only as products but as experiences.

The first brand store, THE TEENIEPING, will open later this year at S-Factory in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong district. A SAMG Entertainment representative said, “Through THE TEENIEPING—across offline spaces and all other channels—we will continue strengthening our integrated brand strategy so fans can naturally encounter SAMG Entertainment’s IP in their daily lives. As a leased retail space located in Seongsu, the new store will help us reach the 1030 generations and international visitors while also contributing to stable revenue opportunities for the company.”
