SAMG Entertainment’s “Catch! Teenieping” Sets Six-Week Disney+ Korea Rollout

SAMG Entertainment(CEO Kim Su-hoon)’s flagship animated franchise “Catch! Teenieping” is heading to Disney+ Korea in a six-week rollout that will bring the series’ full lineup to the streaming platform.

The rollout begins July 17 with Season 6, “Princess Catch! Teenieping”, followed by weekly releases through Aug. 21. By the end of the schedule, all six seasons of the series, along with the feature film “Heartsping: Teenieping of Love” will be available on Disney+ Korea.

The weekly rollout continues with Season 5 (“Star Catch! Teenieping”) on July 24, Season 4 (“Dessert Catch! Teenieping”) on July 31, Season 3 (“Secret Catch! Teenieping”) on Aug. 7, Season 2 (“Twinkle Catch! Teenieping”) on Aug. 14, and the original Season 1 on Aug. 21.

The animation film “Heartsping: Teenieping of Love” will also arrive on Disney+ Korea on July 24. Released theatrically in 2024, the film drew 1.24 million admissions, setting a new admissions record for a Korean animated feature. It is the first installment in a planned trilogy. Its sequel, “Teenieping: Legend of the Whale Heartstone”, is scheduled to open in Korean theaters on Aug. 5.

Launched in 2020, “Catch! Teenieping” has become one of SAMG Entertainment’s flagship franchises, expanding from a television series into feature films, live shows, consumer products, licensing and branded retail stores.

“The Disney+ launch marks another step in bringing Catch! Teenieping to a wider audience through streaming,” a SAMG Entertainment spokesperson said. “We also hope this collaboration will create opportunities to introduce more of our IPs through future partnerships.”
