SAMG Entertainment Expands Catch! Teenieping IP with New High-End Show-Musical

Global IP content company SAMG Entertainment (KOSDAQ: 419530, CEO Suhoon Kim) is set to premiere Princess Catch! Teenieping, a family-oriented show-musical based on its flagship IP, on January 30 at the Gangdong Arts Center’s Grand Theater in Seoul.

The production follows the record-breaking success of the movie-turned-musical “Heartsping: Teenieping of Love”, which topped family-category box office charts and won Best Family Musical at the 10th Korea Musical Awards. Building on that momentum, the new show expands the original universe with a larger-scale stage and enhanced theatrical effects.

Illusionist Eungyeol Lee returns as Executive Creative Director, leading a high-end production that blends magic, puppetry, and musical theater. He is joined by an elite creative team, including renowned director Seunghee Hong (Cats, Wicked), writer Jihyun Lee (Cinderella Homme), and puppet director Myungpil Jung (Life of Pi), ensuring a sophisticated theatrical experience for family audiences.

Based on Season 6 of the Catch! Teenieping series, the show introduces new characters such as Princessping and Princeping. The previous production was praised for its use of 3D holograms and flying sequences. Beyond its predecessor, Princess Catch! Teenieping further elevates the experience with more advanced puppetry and stagecraft designed to engage both children and adult fans.

The production has already demonstrated strong market appeal, ranking No. 1 on major ticketing platforms immediately upon release. Following its Seoul run from January 30 to March 2, the show will embark on a nationwide tour, including Uijeongbu, Dangjin, Daegu, and Busan. Tickets are available via NOL Ticket(Interpark), Yes24, and Naver.
