SAMG Entertainment to Launch Taiwan Pop-Up With LINE FRIENDS SQUARE, Expanding ‘Seasonless IP’ Push

Global IP content company SAMG Entertainment (CEO Suhoon Kim) is teaming up with LINE FRIENDS SQUARE to open a character-driven pop-up store in Taipei.

The pop-up will run from April 1 to 30 at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi’s Xinyi Place A11, one of the city’s busiest retail districts. Timed around Taiwan’s Children’s Day holiday on April 4, the event is expected to draw both family shoppers and existing fans.

At the center of the initiative is SAMG Entertainment’s “seasonless IP” approach — a push to move beyond broadcast-driven demand and position its content as part of everyday lifestyle consumption. The Taipei pop-up will introduce the “Heartsping’s Laid-back Days” artwork line to overseas audiences for the first time, alongside a range of new products including lifestyle items, K-heritage–inspired designs, and beauty offerings, giving local fans something both familiar and new.

Shin Kong Mitsukoshi’s Xinyi district is a key hub for global brand pop-ups and character events in Taipei. SAMG Entertainment plans to feature experiential zones along with a wide range of merchandise, targeting both younger consumers and family visitors.

The project brings together SAMG Entertainment’s content IP portfolio, LINE FRIENDS SQUARE’s global distribution network, and IPIXEL’s strong foot traffic — improving operational efficiency while expanding brand synergies and strengthening its reach with overseas consumers.

“This Taiwan pop-up is more than just a retail event — it shows how our IP is evolving into a global brand,” a SAMG Entertainment spokesperson said. “We see this collaboration with LINE FRIENDS SQUARE as a springboard to expand offline experiences across key markets in Asia and beyond.”
