TEENIEPING Products to Roll Out in Nearly 2,000 Target Stores Across U.S.
SAMG Entertainment will supply its TEENIEPING character products to nearly 2,000 Target stores across the United States, expanding the Korean IP company’s retail presence in the U.S.
The products, including random collectible figures and plush toys, are expected to roll out through a local distribution partner from late October through November. They will be sold in Target’s collectible toy section ahead of the year-end holiday shopping season.
Target is one of the largest toy retailers in the U.S., alongside Walmart and Amazon, with roughly 2,000 stores nationwide. Its toy aisles carry products from major global brands including LEGO, Mattel and Hasbro.
For SAMG Entertainment, the Target rollout marks its entry into a broad U.S. brick-and-mortar retail network. The company plans to gradually add more TEENIEPING products and is also in discussions to bring other IP-based merchandise, including Metal Cardbot and Wishcat, to Target stores.
Products will be supplied based on Target’s purchase orders, allowing SAMG Entertainment to adjust product mix and volumes according to demand.
The U.S. deal follows recent direct-supply agreements with Chinese retailers Miniso and Sanfu in September, further expanding distribution channels for SAMG Entertainment’s proprietary merchandise outside Korea.
“We are pleased to bring our TEENIEPING figures and plush toys to consumers across the U.S. through Target”, a SAMG Entertainment representative said. “We see growing interest in the potential of Korean character IP in overseas markets and plan to expand distribution of Teenieping and other SAMG Entertainment IPs across North America, Europe and Latin America”.
