SAMG Entertainment Brings “Catch! Teenieping” to Nexon’s MapleStory

SAMG Entertainment is bringing its hit IP Catch! Teenieping to Nexon’s popular online game MapleStory in a new collaboration launching in Korea on Sept. 17.

Running from Sept. 17 through Oct. 21, the collaboration brings characters from the Catch! Teenieping series to MapleStory through pets and cosmetic items. Heartsping will appear as a cosmetic item and a pet, as well as in the Sol Hecate skin.

Season 6 characters Dianaping, Eclipseping and Heartsping will be introduced as three new Luna Petit pets known as “Petite Teenieping”. Equipping the Petite Teenieping pets activates the “Power of Petite Teenieping” skill, with its effects strengthening by up to three levels depending on the types of pets equipped. Each pet also comes with a dedicated equipment item inspired by the character’s distinctive features and signature accessories.

The collaboration also includes Illusion Rings that transform MapleStory characters into Catch! Teenieping characters, including Hopping, Kittyping, Sparkleping, Graceping and Aurorapin. Other cosmetic items include rings that customize name tags and chat bubbles for pets and characters, along with the “Romi Avatar Set Exchange Coupon”, inspired by Romi’s outfit from Season 6.

The collaboration is SAMG Entertainment’s latest game partnership for Catch! Teenieping, following collaborations this year with Infinite Stairs, PUBG MOBILE, Play Together and KartRider Rush+.

A SAMG Entertainment spokesperson said, “Through our collaboration with Nexon’s MapleStory, we are giving Catch! Teenieping fans an opportunity to encounter the characters and their world within the game. We will continue to explore collaborations that bring characters from the animation to a wider range of content.”
