SAMG Entertainment Launches MACHINA CORE, a Unified Brand for Its Mecha IP Portfolio

SAMG Entertainment (CEO Kim Su-hoon), a global IP content company, announced the launch of MACHINA CORE, a new umbrella brand designed to unite its flagship mecha franchises under a single fan-focused ecosystem. The initiative marks the company’s next step in expanding its mecha IP business by connecting content, consumer products and fan experiences through one integrated platform.

MACHINA CORE brings together SAMG Entertainment’s flagship transforming robot franchises, Mini Force and Metal Cardbot, under a unified brand. Building on the fan bases and brand equity established by each franchise, MACHINA CORE will serve as a central hub that connects stories, products and fan communities while creating a more cohesive experience for audiences and collectors.

The name combines “Machina”, the home planet featured in Metal Cardbot, with “Core”, representing the center that brings fans together. Guided by the tagline, “Where Imagined Adventures Begin”, MACHINA CORE aims to become a destination where robot fans across generations can discover new content, share their passion and engage with one another.

The launch builds on the strong performance of SAMG Entertainment’s existing mecha franchises. Mini Force has generated more than 35 billion cumulative views and has grown into one of Asia’s leading Korean action franchises over the past decade. Metal Cardbot, now in its third season, recorded a peak TV rating of 16.4% and ranked No. 1 among robot-related search terms on Alibaba’s Taobao platform in China (excluding generic keywords), highlighting the franchise’s growing international appeal.

Looking ahead, SAMG Entertainment plans to expand MACHINA CORE beyond its existing toy business into premium collectibles, digital content and immersive offline experiences. Through its in-house D2C storefront, the company will introduce limited-edition merchandise and membership benefits while broadening the brand to encompass future mecha franchises and additional hobby categories.

Fan engagement will be centered on MACHINA CORE’s official social channels, where the company will share new product launches, behind-the-scenes stories and community-driven content. SAMG Entertainment also plans to strengthen its global presence through YouTube and TikTok, creating more opportunities for fans around the world to discover and engage with the brand.

“MACHINA CORE brings our robot franchises together under one brand while giving fans a place to discover, collect and connect,” a SAMG Entertainment representative said. “Our goal is to grow MACHINA CORE into a globally recognized Korean mecha franchise and foster a fan community that spans generations.”
