SAMG Entertainment Unveils New Corporate Identity to Support Global IP Strategy

SAMG Entertainment(CEO Kim Su-hoon), a global IP company known for its original animated franchises, has unveiled a new Corporate Identity (CI) as it enters its next phase of global growth. The rebrand reflects the company’s long-term strategy to expand its IP business beyond animation into products, retail, digital experiences and global fan communities.

Founded in 2000 as SAMG Animation (originally 3G Animation), the company’s name was built on three founding values: Global, Graphic and Group. Since the early days of Korea’s animation industry, SAMG Animation has established itself as a pioneer in 3D animation production while steadily building a portfolio of original IP.

Following its corporate rebranding to SAMG Entertainment in 2021, the company has evolved from an animation studio into an original IP company. Today, it operates across character licensing, consumer products, digital content and location-based experiences, supported by one of Korea’s largest 3D animation production capabilities.

As entertainment IP increasingly extends beyond screen content into products, retail and immersive brand experiences, companies are placing greater emphasis on building consistent global brands. SAMG Entertainment’s new corporate identity reflects this shift while clearly expressing the company’s long-term business direction and global ambitions.

Rather than relying solely on content success to drive international expansion, SAMG Entertainment plans to strengthen an IP strategy that builds connections with consumers through products, retail and fan experiences from the outset. Content, commerce and digital experiences will reinforce one another within an interconnected global IP ecosystem.

The new identity combines a bold wordmark with fluid curves to express both trust and adaptability. The “S” symbol represents the journey of an IP—from a single story to characters, content and a broad range of experiences. The signature dot (•) positioned above the logo symbolizes the Earth and the global marketplace, reflecting SAMG Entertainment’s ambition to grow its IP across markets worldwide.

“Our new corporate identity is more than a visual refresh—it represents the direction our business is taking,” said Kim Su-hoon, CEO of SAMG Entertainment. “We will continue to create more opportunities for audiences to experience our IP through content, products and digital experiences, while expanding our presence across global markets and growing our international fan community.”

SAMG Entertainment’s original IP portfolio includes THE TEENIEPING, Catch! Teenieping, Miniforce, Metal Cardbot and Wishcat. Looking ahead, the company plans to introduce new content and consumer products through collaborations with leading global entertainment franchises while expanding both online and offline fan experiences to further strengthen its global presence.
