Teenieping Becomes a Racer:Hyundai and SAMG Team Up to Produce Catch! Teenieping Branded Content for the Next Generation

– Spin-off short film featuring Hyundai-branded characters to debut within the Catch! Teenieping universe
– First time the animated franchise incorporates a corporate brand into its storytelling
– Special exhibition to launch at Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang in celebration of Family Month
– “This collaboration marks the beginning of many joyful experiences for families.”

SAMG Entertainment announced on Tuesday that it has teamed up with Hyundai Motor Company to develop a large-scale youth marketing campaign featuring Catch! Teenieping, the beloved children’s animation.

With over 1.3 billion cumulative views across YouTube and OTT platforms, Catch! Teenieping has become one of Korea’s most successful animated series. The franchise’s 2023 theatrical release drew 1.24 million viewers, making it the second highest-grossing Korean animated film of all time.
This collaboration introduces entertainment elements to Hyundai’s existing youth-oriented educational campaigns, creating more accessible and engaging brand experiences for the younger generation.

At the heart of the initiative is a 10-minute animated spin-off film, where Teenieping characters create their own custom Hyundai-branded vehicles and compete in an exciting race. It marks the first time a corporate brand has been woven into the Teenieping universe.

A five-second teaser was released on April 8, with a full trailer scheduled for April 17 and the official film premiering on May 1 via Hyundai and Teenieping’s social media channels.

Coinciding with Korea’s Family Month in May, a collaborative exhibition titled Youth Adventure 2025 will open at Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang (Gyeonggi Province) from May 1 to 31. The exhibition will feature immersive brand experiences and limited-edition collaborative merchandise, offering young visitors a fun and memorable outing.

During the opening weekend on May 4 and 5, families can also take part in the Kids Ground program, which includes photo ops with Teenieping characters and a singalong mini-concert.

Additionally, winning entries from Hyundai’s 9th annual Kids Motor Show drawing contest will be displayed at the Teenieping collaboration space throughout the month.

“This partnership brings together Hyundai’s commitment to growth, education, and happiness with Teenieping’s wholesome and charming character identity,” said Suhoon Kim, CEO of SAMG Entertainment. “We look forward to creating more joyful experiences for families through this meaningful collaboration.”

Sung-won Jee, Executive Vice President of Hyundai’s Brand Marketing Division, added, “Hyundai continues to explore new forms of content marketing, such as our recent short film project Night Fishing. Our collaboration with Teenieping allows us to naturally engage with the younger generation by offering fresh and meaningful brand experiences.”

Looking ahead, SAMG Entertainment and Hyundai plan to develop a long-term creative partnership, producing a variety of content formats that resonate emotionally with audiences and enhance the brand’s relevance across generations.
